Uttarakhand, often referred as a Devbhumi has been an ancient education hub. There were so many education centres, two famous of them Badrikasharm and Kanwasharm, from where so many brilliant students learnt and directed the whole nation. As like ancient ashram system our institute name Bhagirathi Institute of Pharmacy was established with the main objective to provide outstanding education, training and carrier opportunities to the youth of Uttarakhand.
Our main aim is to provide quality education and skill development by which students can achieve their dreamt carrier. It is the centre of excellence where academics and need of industry is blended to impart skill based professional education to make the students confident and capable. We believe that the institute has to keep pace with the ever changing industrial scenario. For this, apart from prescribed syllabi latest trainings and course are also provided.
D.Pharm means Diploma in Pharmacy. In India, students can study this education course after successfully completing Standard Twelve in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and either Biology as subjects. The person who has completed D.Pharm can be employed as pharmacist in shops selling medicine (Pharmacy). It has been made mandatory that at least one person employed in pharmacy must have qualified D.Pharm. To my mind an educational institute is not just about bricks, mortar and concrete, but about building character, enriching minds and about enriching experiences that lasts a lifetime. Life is not a set of instructions but is a series of experiences and learning process. Engineering is no exception. This is where our institute steps in to make a difference and where learning is not just series of instructions but a passion, which goes beyond books, beyond instructions, beyond learning horizons. The unified diversity element among student projects the integrated spectrum of prototype India as most of the students belong to the states of differing language and local culture gather with single minded focus to succeed in life. - Mr. N.C.
